For me this is an interesting topic as my mom taught me all about this and I wanted to learn more about this from an Expert.

Life can be very challenging for those who struggle in managing their stress. It could be due to work stress, emotional stress, family stress, social stress, and any type of stress.

In order to learn more about these stresses and how to manage it properly, I thought why not talk to an Expert. I did some research and found that Dr. Mary Wingo is a well known authority. In fact she is known as the Stress Expert. So I reached out to her to do one Interview Podcast for our listeners.

Bio of Dr. Mary Wingo, the Stress Expert

Mary Wingo was born in the United States where she earned a Ph.D. in human stress research from The University of North Texas. in 2014, She emigrated to Ecuador, a tiny country in South America. Living in a new and very different society opened her eyes to the unsustainable social, economic, and political costs preventable stress causes in the modern world.

Dr. Wingo's aim is to clearly explain to the public the biological mechanisms behind the stress response, as well as its staggering costs to society.


Dr. Wingo has been studying various aspects of stress at a deeper level for the last 20 years. She has published a book on “Deep understanding of human physiology and the human stress response”.

In the book, she shares solutions for the following major stress challenges:

  • The root causes of stress and learn how to manage it effectively
  • Why the stress response is essential for helping one adapt to one's environment
  • The fascinating biology of human stress
  • The 5 major causes of stress in modernized society

These losses are due to five major causes:

  • Loss of social capital
